This book is being written in response to your need. If you are like me, you know the Truth about yourself. You know that you deserve to have a wonderful experience in this life, an experience ripe with abundance, love, joy, and all of those good feelings. You know this, like you know the sun will rise tomorrow... and yet for some reason the actual experience of it eludes you and you aren't sure why.
I felt 'the need' for the first time the other day in a bookstore. I stood in the huge establishment staring the Self-Help and New Age/Spirituality sections and I wondered what on earth had happened to all of the uplifting books. Then it dawned on me. The books that I would normally grab off of the shelf were no longer serving me. My awareness had shifted to a level where psychoanalyzing my childhood, saying the rosary, or chanting spells under moonlight just wouldn't satisfy me.
I knew I was God. Where could I go from there?

This is an excellent book that functions as a reminder that many of the ills and difficulties that we have in our selves can be remedied from within. It defines the true meaning of self help, be realizing our ultimate potential to transform any difficulty that can come across our path. The author has a deep understanding of spiritual matters and really conveys a message of self transformation and understanding. It is very well written and really connects to the reader at a deep level. Read this book and tap into your inner divine!
the title says it the Author did not Carrie the true message. boring read way written.it was not a book you do not want to stop reading. we are all god in one with the universe. We are all one in the same. the temple is our body. the lord is our Mind. we are all the same. when one becomes enlightened they know we are all one no better, no worse , our thoughts control everything.worship the temple. that is God we are the temple. anything else is a false god. we are GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HERE TO LEARN

What a great little read! If you have a sense that you are something greater than your body, mind and thoughts, you definitely should check this book out! A great Handbook for the Divine in Each of Us!!
This book is definitely a GEM. There is so much wisdom in this little book, very easy to read as if the author was right there talking to you. The concept of being God and Ms. Beckwith's explanations of that reality, makes it understandable and attainable. Chapter 3 was very helpful with real life examples and solutions to problems that one can experience on a day to day basis. It walks you through how to make the shift into remembering the God within. It did not take 400 pages for Ms. Beckwith to give us this treasure, which really says how powerful this small book is! I would recommend this book to anyone trying to gain the experience of God within themselves and not just to read about HIm/Her in the dualistic aspect.
